Mat Yoga with Sara

Mat yoga is a gentle and restorative class designed to improve flexibility, strength and balance through slow, mindful movements performed on a yoga mat. Tailored specifically for adults over the age of 55. This class focuses on stretching, strengthening and breathing techniques that enhance joint mobility and promote overall well-being.
Participants will practice basic yoga poses (asanas) that will help increase flexibility, strengthen muscles, and improve posture, while also emphasizing deep, relaxing breaths. The class offers modifications to ensure all levels can participant comfortably and safely, whether you’re new to yoga or looking to deepen you practice.
Ideal for people seeking to improve flexibility, reduce stress, and enhance overall body awareness. Mat Yoga provides a safe, supportive environment to unwind and move at your own pace. All you need is a yoga mat and an open mind!
Why not give it a try? And by the way, I have 3 or 4 yoga mats that you are welcome to use if you do not have one of your own.

Mindful Moves for a Calm Holiday

This gentle movement session is designed to help you reconnect with your body, release built-up stress, and restore a sense of calm. Through mindful stretching, breathwork, and easy-to-follow movement, you’ll create space for peace amid the holiday hustle. A guided singing bowl meditation will be held at the end of practice.
